WIP Update
My finished mitten
Kim I have fallen in love with Country cottage needlework charts. ( I hope that is the way to post a link here)
April goals
1. Work on gathering eggs/finish it
2. stitch spring exchange gift
3. stitch ornament for niece Ashley
4.work on getting my jammer in order
5. stitch a square for Boos Christmas quilt
I hope to get at least 3 of those things done this coming month. But I'd be lucky to get 2 of them done. If I didn't have to spend my days off playing taxi I'd get a lot more stitching done.
Sister's forever
Sister's forever
Stitched for my sister's birthday.
From the magazine Just cross stitch Feb 2003
Chart is available for trade.
I've also stitched up an ornament for my niece. I'm going to try and stitch an ornament a month for my family. As soon as I do the finishing on the ornament I'll post a picture of it. I even added the beads!! I HATE adding beads. It's such a chore and stitching shouldn't be a chore.
In other news..I got my hair cut off. I got about...8 inches cut off. It was down pass my shoulders and now it is way way above it. Keith isn't very happy about it. He has never known me to have short hair. What he doesn't know is I've always had short hair, in til I knew him. I had just let it grow out when I met him. And he always seemed to like it. Well..summer is coming and running after a kid in the heat isn't going to be fun. So I got it cut.
I took boo out side to enjoy the spring weather. We had a great time. We played ball and chased the neighbors cat. He falls down a lot, like all the time. Hits his face on the ground. His head looks awful. People will think i beat him. LOL He's getting so big. Soon he will be 18 months old. Where did my baby go??

I was wondering if anyone has this chart for sale or trade? It comes as a kit but I only want the chart. I'd like to stitch it for Keith's best friend. She is pregnant with twins. And is doing the room in Noah ark.
The quilt
I gave my MIL her quilt this past Tuesday. She LOVED it. She can't belive the kindness of others. That strangers would stitch her a square. I told her that the Stitchers that I know are awesome. Best group of people I have ever known. This week marks her 1 year mark. She had her cancer surgery one year ago on good friday. I told her the quilt is her..glad you are still with us, love you forever, don't scare me like that again gift. LOL I love my MIL dearly. I don't know what we would do with out her in our lifes. Thank you to all the great stitchers that stitched a square for me. My MIL's sister did the sewing of the quilt. I think she did a great job. Much better than I could have ever done. I love the framed blocks she put around each square. And the fabric is such a great pick. Thanks again to everyone that helped make this quilt happen! Now I am going to stitch up some squares for Brandon and have him one made for christmas. I think i'm going to do Cars and trucks. I just gotta find some charts that will work.
I still haven't taken a picture of my WIP of Sisters forever. I'll try to do that some time today.
Thank you Helen!!
Happy Easter!!

Biggest BAP I've ever seen!

My WIP update

On a sad note. My beaded Scissor Fob that I bought from a lady has been finally put to rest. I've had this fob for about 3 years. I left it laying on my stitching stand, my son boo got a hold of it. And, I'm sure you can guess the rest. He BROKE IT! I almost cried. But it wasn't his fault. I shouldn't have left it out. I just loved that fob. Probably will never be another one like it. It was just the right length. You will be missed fobby. You will be missed. (I'll post a picture of it later)
I have updated my sale and trade album. I spent most of yesterday adding new stash. So If you get a chance to check it out. I'd like to trade for Aida or floss. Unless you have a chart from my wish list. Or something that you think I'd like. But I really need Aida..or even weave. I'd like to try my hand at even weave. I've never tried it before. Well i see I'm rambling so I guess I'll sign off. I'll post my photo bucket link to the right.

boo boo is sick again!
Family of love....
Keith and I went to his moms on Thursday and spent the night. We had a great time. I just love his mother so much. She is the greatest person ever. So unlike my mother. If everyone had a mom like her the world would be a better place. Here is a picture of us. Thats me on the couch trying not to smile. LOL on the floor is Keiths sister Christy, she is holding her son Jadon. My hubby keith, Keith is holding boo boo and then Keiths mom Bea. Aren't we a great looking family.
I received new stash yesterday. I recived The gift. Here is a picture of it.

I think thats all I have to share with you today. Boo Boo has 2 black eyes. One he got while at the baby sisters on Thursday and the other one he got at MIL's house. He hasn't mastered the skill of walking yet. He wants to walk with out seeing whats in front of him. Hopefully soon he will quit falling about. I feel like going and getting him a helment to protect him. LOL I can here peopole talking about it now.
I guess Ta Ta for now.

I also got 2 new charts in the mail last week. Halloween charts. They were sent to me by Vickie M. I love Halloween charts, but I have yet to start one. I might do that after my L&L chart. Soon I gotta get started on my niece's stocking. I promised to make all of my sister kids a stocking.
Keith's friends that are pregnant with twins are going to do the baby's rooms in Noah ark baby animals. So I'm on the search for anything to stitch for them. I'd like to stitch both baby's an announcements and maybe a couple bibs. I'll have to see what I can find. I don't have ANY Noah arks charts.
I still can't get the spell checker to work here. I've been going to gmail, cutting and pasting everything to check my spelling. Lord what a hassle that is. Anyways, ta ta for now.

ramblings...
Keith and I watch the best movie last night. It was called 1408.It is based on the short story by Stephen King and starring John Cusack as a horror novelist who tries to stay more than an hour in a hotel room. Man is it a nail bitting..on the edge of your seat movie. (it's a horror movie of course). I recommend it to anyone who is a horror movie fan.
I placed an order with silk weavers yesterday. I cant wait to get my new fabric so I can start my new project. I'm going to do L&L Enchanted alphabet. I've always wanted to stitch this and have been putting it off and putting it off. Well I'm going to take the plunge and do it! Wish me luck. First i gotta get my WIP stitched. I haven't stitched on it for a few nights due to watching movies with Keith. I gotta go tho, Boo needs to be gotten up from his nap. He hasn't been sleeping well at nights so I haven't been giving him long naps during the day.
Til next time
Becca
another finish!

Jammer boxes
snowman finished!
I finally finished back stitching the snowman my sister stitched. He is so cute. I'm thinking of putting him in a frame but I'm leaning towards a cute wall hanging. I got some really awesome fabric left over from christmas. Here is a picture of him
Well I have more to write about but Brandon isn't going to let me sit here any longer. He has been so sick the past few days. He spiked a 104.2 temp last night. I'll write more laters. I want to show you my jammer box and my WIP. Ta Ta for now.
I have new finishes!
Stocking is finished!!
WIP...only back stitching left!
4th of july in January
Green Thumb???
Brrrrrr.....it's cold
checking in....
wasting time....
Keith and I spent new years day with his good friend Arron and Candice. We had an awesome time. We played Clue most of the day. I actually won a game! Everyone won except Arron. Poor Arron..He would have won if I kept my big mouth shut. *sorry Arron* lol Keith and i are going to buy Monopoly for the next time we have game day. I think we are going back next month. Going to make it an all night night. That will be fun.
Cheryl A. finally received my package. She says she loved everything. I'm so glad. I always worry about what to send her. She is such dear Friend. I hope she wastes lots of time stitching all those Christmas ornaments. lol
I better run tho, gotta get boo and keith woke up so we can start getting ready.
*HUGS to all*
WIP...really moving along
Happy new year!
1.. lose 30 more pounds.
2. keep on not smoking. (It's been 4 months!)
and 3....to un clutter my house.
In 2007 I lost a total of 31 pounds. If I can do that again this year I'd be sooo happy. As of yesterday I'm back up too 201. Damn those peanut butter buckeyes! I probably ate a dozen of them over the weekend. For some reason i don't have much will power this time. I'm going to stick to a plan. I'm going to get my meals wrote out couple days before hand. AND I'M going to stick with it. I'm going to use my treadmill 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening. It's the only way. Walk ..walk ..walk. I can't wait in til spring gets here. Then I can get boo out side and I'm sure the weight will fall off.
I've also got some stitching goals for this year. I'd like to get at least 3 stockings stitched for my nieces and nephews. I'm almost finished with one stocking so it's a good start. Also I'm going to try and not buy ANY new stash intil I get atleast 10 things stitched up. (LMAO!!!)) I think I can do it. I can do it...I can do it..I can ..If I keep saying it maybe it will stick with me longer.
