Turkey day!

Thanksgiving was sooo much fun. The food was awesome. I did gain a few pounds. But man was it worth it!I'm posting a couple pictures of Keith deep frying the turkey.

Thanksgiving day!

Thanksgiving day is here. I have the house all cleaned, boo is sleeping and I'm waiting for the in-laws to arrive. I can't wait to taste MIL's grrrreat cooking. I'm in charge of the mashed potato's (who can really screw up Potato's? lol). Keith is deep frying the turkey again this year. I'll post some pictures of it later. I hope he doesn't over cook it like yesterdays turkey. ( I had my family's dinner yesterday at my sisters). I ate waaaay to much yesterday. And I'm sure i'll do so again today. But how can i resist? I better go fold up the laundry. I'll write more laters.

I totally forgot to post a picture of my HUGE finish. My country winter!

She is framed and already hanging on my wall. Even tho it isn't winter yet, I think she will always hang on my wall. I will be starting the country fall as soon as I finsih all my ornaments for the exchanges i'm in. Anyways...I'm off to stitch. Boo's already in bed..so going to get in a few xxx.






It's been a while since my last post. I have some new finishes. I'll post them at the end of thread. Some family news... My parents have gotten back together. Not sure if they will stay together, for neither one of them seem happy. I wish I could go back to my childhood and treasure the family time we had then. Happy care free days...summer cook outs, ..swimming and berry picking. But those days are looong gone. I promise to make Boo's childhood just as great. He started walking this past week. He's such a sweet baby. I don't regret for a second having him. I am trying to teach him how to drink from a cup. He isn't picking it up very well. LOL Spilling milk and water all over him.




I'm doing very well on my diet. I'm walking 20-40 minutes on my treadmill each night. Plus walking a mile at the track after work. I LOVE walking. Just wish it wasn't getting so cold out. I'd raither walk outside than inside on a tread mill. I've lost a total of 20 pounds.

I'm still not smoking..been 2 months! I feel sooo much better.
