Stocking is finished!!

Boy do I have a lot to write about today. The first thing I want to say is I screwed up yesterday. I was at my sisters house and she had her cigarettes laying out. I stole one. Smoked it. I LOVED every minute of it. It was like I found a long lost friend. God did it taste good, smell good. After I smoked it I got so dizzy and light headed. I thought I was going to faint. It was a nice smoke but not something I want to pick up again. I told Keith and he about had a fit. I told him everyone falls off the wagon every now and again. I just got to pick myself up and get back on.

And now for some good new...drum roll plz....I have finished Logan's stocking! Here is a picture of it. The only thing I don't like is the name. The G looks like an 8 and it drives me CRAZY! Everyone says it looks fine so I'm going to leave it. I'm going to try and do the finishing of the stocking myself. My good friend Cheryl has given me great instructions and pictures on how it is done. So wish me luck!
Some more great news. I received new STASH! Check out his awesome fabric that Karen sent to me. I'm going to stitch something halloweenie on it. I love the dyed fabric.
My sister and I are going shopping today. Not sure what I'll be buying but I do know that we will be going to the hobby lobby. So I hope to find some good sales. If I buy anything good I'll be sure to post. Ta ta for now!

WIP...only back stitching left!

Here is a picture of Logan's stocking. It's really moving along. For some reason I'm Hateing the back stitching. And usually I love to back stitch. The back stitching means I'm soon going to be starting something else. I have my next project already picked out. It's going to be a valentine gift for my hubby. Shouldn't take me long to stitch it.

Here is a finish for my sister. I just love it. I think i'm going to put it on my to do list. And I just love the frame and mat she picked. It's awesome. She has several other project started. I'm glad she finally finished one. LOL
Not much else has been going on. Lady at work gave me a drum set for Brandon. Can't wait to try that out. Can anyone say head ache? He is getting his last 4 teeth in and is being a pain in the butt. Crying and fussie. Lord help me. Can't wait intil it's over. Anyways, i'm going to get off here and stitch while boo is napping.

4th of july in January

Check out this really cool frame I found for my Lizzie Kate finish. I think it looks awesome! I have an extra frame (it came 2 in a package) if anyone wants it. All I ask for it is shipping. It's sorta heavy, but get this..no glass! It's just a piece of heavy plastic. It's so freak in cool. I think my piece looks great it in. I do believe Cat. from the RR group I WAS in finished it. Now if only I could find a frame for my other LK finishes.
Not a whole lot going on around here. It's still really really cold. Like only 11 degrees cold. yesterday we got about 2 inches of snow. But it turned to rain and melted most of it.
I went to the doctors yesterday. Gotta go tomorrow and get my cholesterol level checked. With all the weight I've lost it should be a good number.
I gotta run tho...boo is throwing a fit wanting something. If only he could tell me..when could end these silly games. LOL I can't wait in til he can talk and tell me things. Instead of screaming and throwing a fit. Today he woke up with a snotty nose and a bad cough. Must be this cold weather.

Green Thumb???

I'm trying my hand at plants again. I once used to have LOTS and LOTS of plants. But I couldn't keep my cats out of them. Now that I have gotten rid of one cat and my other cat has gotten older I thought I would try again. To start with I have a spider plant. Spider plants are EASY to grow. Anyone can grow a spider plant. Here is a picture of it.

The other plants I have I don't know the names of. ( the friend that gave me the starts didn't

know the names either). But here are pictures of them

Wish me luck! I hope I don't kill them. Working full time and taking care of the baby and now caring for plants might be too much. But I love the look of live plants in someones home. I hope the vine plants take off and cover the stand I have them on. Anyways, I gotta get off here and help Keith move furniture around. We are tired of the way our living room is now. So we are going to rearrange it. Ta Ta for now!

Brrrrrr.....it's cold

Man is it cold out side. I think it's like 14 degrees out. It snowed a lot today. Nothing stuck to the ground tho. Suppose to have snow and ice this weekend. Hope it doesn't prevent me from getting to work. Brrrrrr....

I took Boo to the doctors today. He has a yeast infection. So it's no wonder I couldn't get rid of his diaper rash. Some days I would be in tears, feeling like a horrid mother, when in fact there wasn't anything I could have done to get rid of the rash. Thank goodness I broke down yesterday and called the doctor. Poor boo boo. I couldn't get his medication tonight because the Pharmacy didn't have it in, but it should be in by tomorrow when I get off work.

Here is a picture of my WIP. Man I'm almost done with this stocking. I can't wait to finish it so I can start something new. For those of you reading my blog and don't know it..I'm a one project woman. LOL I can't start something new until I finish what I'm working on. I KNOW if I start something new I'll NEVER finish what i have started. So it's a rule I've made myself stick too. So Guess what?!?! No UFOs in my closet.
As you can see, I've changed my background to hearts. I'm ready for valentines day! I want to say a HUGE thank you to Kim B. for helping me figure out how to change the back ground. Soon as I have time I'm going to put back my side bars. But right now I'm off to stitch. Boo has gone to my sisters for the night, Keith isn't home from work yet...so it's just me and my stitching!!!
Hugs all!

checking in....

Not much has been going on around here. I've been doing really great on my diet! I'm under 195 pounds! I can't believe I've finally made it under 195. My next goal is 185. I've learned that it is best to set small goals and take baby steps instead of rushing into it. In order to keep the weight off I gotta take it slow and make it apart of my life..not just a diet. ((Boy am I getting smart! lol).

Keith got a call from his good friend Arron yesterday. He's going to be a daddy! I wonder how Candice feels about that. Her and Arron will make great parents. No set due date yet. I can't wait to start stitching stuff for the baby!

I'm posting a picture of the ornament that Kathy made for me. I just LOVE it. I wish I could finish ornaments like this.

I'm still working on Logan's stocking. Got a good deal of it stitched up.

And here is a picture of an ornament that I stitched up. It only took me a few hours to do. It's a freebie from the designer packet that I got when I donated money to the diabetic charity.

wasting time....

I take boo to the doctors today. It's just for a check up so It shouldn't take long. I've already walked 35 minutes on the tread mill this morning. Man I feel GREAT! Hoping to get another 30 minutes in today. I did really good eating yesterday, only thing I had that I shouldn't of had was Mamma Bea's cheese ball. But who can really resist it? I'm going to make Keith eat the rest of it today. Because ...you hear that...it's calling me...it's calling my name!!!

Keith and I spent new years day with his good friend Arron and Candice. We had an awesome time. We played Clue most of the day. I actually won a game! Everyone won except Arron. Poor Arron..He would have won if I kept my big mouth shut. *sorry Arron* lol Keith and i are going to buy Monopoly for the next time we have game day. I think we are going back next month. Going to make it an all night night. That will be fun.

Cheryl A. finally received my package. She says she loved everything. I'm so glad. I always worry about what to send her. She is such dear Friend. I hope she wastes lots of time stitching all those Christmas ornaments. lol
I better run tho, gotta get boo and keith woke up so we can start getting ready.
*HUGS to all*

WIP...really moving along

I didn't get a picture of my WIP posted last week. So Here it is..I've gotten a lot of it stitched this week. Getting up early to stitch is really helping me out. But it's making me tired through out the day. I just want to get this stocking done!!So I can start my Country Fall peice. Maybe even do a halloween peice before I start another stocking.

Happy new year!

Today is the 1st of the year. I've got a few goals for this year. Hopefully I can stick with them.
1.. lose 30 more pounds.
2. keep on not smoking. (It's been 4 months!)
and 3....to un clutter my house.

In 2007 I lost a total of 31 pounds. If I can do that again this year I'd be sooo happy. As of yesterday I'm back up too 201. Damn those peanut butter buckeyes! I probably ate a dozen of them over the weekend. For some reason i don't have much will power this time. I'm going to stick to a plan. I'm going to get my meals wrote out couple days before hand. AND I'M going to stick with it. I'm going to use my treadmill 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening. It's the only way. Walk ..walk ..walk. I can't wait in til spring gets here. Then I can get boo out side and I'm sure the weight will fall off.

I've also got some stitching goals for this year. I'd like to get at least 3 stockings stitched for my nieces and nephews. I'm almost finished with one stocking so it's a good start. Also I'm going to try and not buy ANY new stash intil I get atleast 10 things stitched up. (LMAO!!!)) I think I can do it. I can do it...I can do it..I can ..If I keep saying it maybe it will stick with me longer.
